41 days and over 11,000 miles

Greetings from Charleston!
After 41 days and over 11,000 miles, we’ve completed our squiggly loop and made it home. Overall, I’d say the tour was a great success: our music was well received everywhere we went, The Original performed wonderfully with only a few small roadside repairs, we nearly sold out of our stock of “Believe,” we rocked stages and radio stations across the country for tons of new ears, and we returned home safe and sound and with our sanity and friendships intact. The success of the tour and our overall well-being is due in no small part to all the folks who helped us along the way, too numerous to list here. A huge thank you to everyone who housed us, fed us, encouraged us, and spread the word about our shows. You are the sixth member of this band, and WE LOVE YOU!

I’m sure that each band member has their own tour highlights, but a few of my personal favorite moments were rocking the Boulder Theatre, driving through the epic scenery of the American West, rock climbing at Vedauwoo, WY with Russ, and surfing our way down the California coast from San Francisco to San Diego.

We were thrilled to find out that while we were climbing mountains and crossing deserts, our album “Believe” has been doing some climbing of its own. It is currently ranked #4 on the jambands.com chart alongside Government Mule, Micheal Franti, and Tim Reynolds.

For the rest of the year, our travels will be closer to home. We have a bunch of fun shows planned throughout the southeast and as far away as New Orleans. Check out the tour schedule below for details.

thanks,
Joel
