I’m writing this update from “The Original,” as we begin the long drive from N’awlins to Cha’ston. A few days in the Big Easy has been a wonderful way to finish our travels for the year. Yesterday, Wes and I wandered around the French Quarter listening to jazz in the streets and bars before our show. I am happy to report that the spirit of this great southern city is alive and well. Like a second-line band marching to a funeral, the city is defiantly celebrating in the face of death. The resilience of the residents and their determination to rebuild and restore is inspiring. The city that gave the world jazz can give us a valuable lesson in overcoming adversity with grace and community… Continue reading

41 days and over 11,000 miles
After 41 days and over 11,000 miles, we’ve completed our squiggly loop and made it home. Overall, I’d say the tour was a great success: our music was well received everywhere we went, The Original performed wonderfully with only a few small roadside repairs, we nearly sold out of our stock of “Believe,” we rocked stages and radio stations across the country for tons of new ears, and we returned home safe and sound and with our sanity and friendships intact. Summer Tour Starts Today!
We write to you from aboard The Original, on an all night drive. We spent the day making some fine tunings and cleaning out the bus before pulling out of Charleston this afternoon. The rig is filled with copies of our album “Believe,” t-shirts, salad and sandwich fixins’, 2 boogieboards, a surfboard, a kayak, camping and climbing gear, a box of costumes, Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka, vitaminwater, and a few musical instruments.
